This long full day tour is demanding and rewarding at once. From Permet you bike some kilometers of asphalt, before a long steep climb over 4×4 tracks follows. You will have to push the majority of it, but we think for the total experience of the trail its worth that. On the highest point of the tour you encounter shepherd pastures, fantastic views and wild nature, before a long & fun downhill takes you to Carshove. Besides a good fitness, this tour needs the will & ability to push your bike over longer time uphill, plus have safe control over some very washed out and partially muddy 4×4 tracks on the way down. Be aware that this is a ONEWAY tour proposal – if you want to be for the night back in Permet (which is likely), you have to pre- organize or stop a car or bus (which should be possible up to late afternoon), or alternatively with enough time & very good fitness you can bike an additional 25km over asphalt back to the city of Permet.
