This full day tour takes you into the northern area of the Permet district, an area less explored but with just as much beauty. After rolling flat out of Kelcyre, a steep uphill asphalt leads you up into the hills. One the top-area of the tour (kind of a plateau, compare with elevation profile) you bike through various settlements, one of them “Topojan”, a once big village which is now nearly abandoned. After this village its for about 1km partly pushing, before you come back to more easy terrain. This is a wild area with a sense of isolation – but as always pretty safe & friendly. An 11km downhill finally takes you from the hills down to the valley again, where the main road leads you to the starting point Kelcyre.
Highlights: Unexplored area with sense of isolation, some very nice track, open view over valley.
Water / Food/ Accommodation: In the village of Zhepove, just before you drop down into the valley on this tour, you`ll find a minimarket & bar. Nevertheless start well equipped, specially with water.
