Rafting in the Vjosa River

The Vjosa River is one of the last wild rivers in Europe. It enters the Albanian territory at the “Tre Ura” (Three Bridges) border point and flows through the municipalities of Përmet and Këlcyrë until it meets the Zagori River and the Drini River, which intersect the Vjosa in the territory of the Municipality of Tepelenë, and the it continues flowing to its estuary in the Adriatic Sea. This part of the river offers excellent opportunities for rafting and other forms of water sports. The Vjosa river valley is characterized by numerous natural features, such as swirling streams, canyons, fresh water springs, islands, and curves that create wonderful meanders, in imitable panoramic landscapes, characteristic villages, and son on. All of these unique features combine in harmony with one another and place the tourist in direct contact with the preserved nature of the valley, with people, history, traditions, and of course with the rich and diverse culinary delights of the area.
Rafting is offered to any enthusiastic visitor who enjoys wildlife and likes adventure, adrenaline, and outdoor sports.
