This day tour follows over as much off-road (=non-asphalt, and that’s 80%) as possible the valley with its beautiful river “Vjosa”, all the way from Permet to the village of Carshove, not far from the Greek border. Be aware that this is a ONEWAY tour proposal – for the way back to Permet you probably want to stop a car or bus (which should be possible), or alternatively with enough time & energy you can bike an additional 25km over asphalt back to Permet.
While the trail follows mostly the valley and doesn’t make too much overall climb, there are some short steep uphill sections, which could also mean the occasional bike pushing.
